What is ELEET
The first student club built exclusively for the Department of Cyber Security.
Our Identity
ELEET is the official Cyber Security Club of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram. It was the first student club established exclusively for the Department of Cyber Security, with the vision of fostering technical excellence, innovation, and a strong cybersecurity community among students.
Our Journey
Since its inception, ELEET has actively organized and hosted several impactful events. The club was inaugurated on 22 August 2024, marking the beginning of its journey. This was followed by its first-ever technical workshop, Wireshark 101, on 24 August 2024, introducing students to the fundamentals of network analysis. On 8 October 2024, ELEET conducted its first Industry Expert Lecture, providing students with valuable insights from cybersecurity professionals. The club further expanded its reach by organizing Cyberthon'25 on 1–2 February 2025, followed by CyberCarnival'25 on 20–21 February 2025, both featuring engaging cybersecurity competitions and technical activities. Continuing its commitment to hands-on learning, ELEET also organized a Capture The Flag (CTF) competition for Texus'25 on 28 March 2025, encouraging participants to apply their cybersecurity knowledge in a competitive environment.
